Originating from Akita Prefecture in Japan, YUZE is a cosmetics line founded in 1939 by Seki Naoemon. Its first manufactured product was the YUZE Washing Powder, a facial cleanser incorporating natural colloidal sulfur derived from the Tamagawa hot spring.
