Hechima Cologne was launched in 1915, with its signature loofah water toner qualifying as one of the first naturally-derived skin care products of its time. Possessing powerful anti-inflammatory and skin rejuvenating qualities, the loofah plant is traditionally used to treat sunburn. Hechima Cologne sources its loofah from a garden located at the foot of Mount Chokai in northeastern Japan, a nourishing environment full of sunshine, mineral water and organic fertilizers.
